My name is Cris, I’m 34 and I live in the south of Spain. I work as a freelance graphic and web designer and although I love my job, if I didn’t have to exchange my time for money to pay the bills, I would spend my days painting, drawing, frolicking in the woods and snorkeling at the beach, which is what I do when I have the opportunity and part of what I share on this site. I also love reading, birdwatching, yoga, tea and cats.
My inspiration comes from nature, wildlife, folktales and the world of witches. If my artist statement was a film, it would be “Song of the Sea” by Tomm Moore. If it was a book, it would be “Lolly Willowes” by Sylvia Townsend Warner. For me, art is a form of magic, a way of communicating the feeling of nature and the spirit of place. I hope I can manage to cast that spell on you on the other side of the screen ✨
